Frequently Asked Questions

Frames, lens, prescription, sizing, accessories, etc

Yes, please see our accessories page or contact our Customer Service Specialist for these items. There will be extra charge for the accessories.

Yes, if you have a high prescription (ex. +/- 6.00 or higher), you should pick a flatter frame. The more curved of a frame, the more distortion there will be on the peripheral of the frame.

Each frame has a different prescription range. Under our expert's guidance, we determine what prescription range will best fit each frame. Higher prescriptions don’t work well with wrap frames because the curvature will create more distortion on the peripheral of the frame and the very thick lenses need to be used. The minimum thickness for safety lenses is 2mm. When lens prescription and minimum thickness are both factored in, the safety glasses will feel very heavy.

Each prescription will have a column or section for Sphere Right and Sphere Left number listed.

Please contact our Customer Service Specialist. There is a one (1) year
warranty against manufacturers’ defects.

There are no replacement parts just
for temples. If the temple breaks, you will need a new frame.

Polarized lenses is like sunglasses where the lenses are dark when you go outside and inside. The lenses do not change colour.

Transition lenses will be clear lenses indoors but once you are outside, it will
take a few minutes for the lenses to change to a light tint of grey or brown
(depending on what you order) The tinting is only up to 30% as per the CSA
guidelines. When you step back inside, it will take a few minutes to change
back to clear lenses. It's perfect for those people who step in and out of
buildings. Transition lenses do not work while inside a car.

Yes, we do sell Anti-fog coating. It will be an extra charge on top of the regular coatings. Please email us at hello@gosafetyvision.com if you are interested in adding on this product. Some people say that it works while some
people say that it doesn't work at all. It all depends on the environment,
temperature of the face/room, how clean or dusty the area is, humidity and other
factors. It's a coating that needs to be re-applied every time you clean your
glasses.

Please email hello@gosafetyvision.com immediately and include your order
number and indicate that the prescription you entered in the order is incorrect. When possible, please upload a copy of the prescription to avoid errors. We can contact the lab to correct the issue.

If the prescription was entered correctly on the original order, Go Safety Vision will send the customer a shipping label so the customer can mail us back the frame and lens so we can get the lab to fix the lenses.

If the customer entered in the prescription incorrectly on the original order and the customer would like Go Safety Vision to have the lab fix the lenses to the correct prescription, the customer is responsible for the cost for mailing the frame and lenses back to Go Safety Vision in Richmond, BC.
