Yes, if you have a high prescription (ex. +/- 6.00 or higher), you should pick a flatter frame. The more curved of a frame, the more distortion there will be on the peripheral of the frame.

Each frame has a different prescription range. Under our expert's guidance, we determine what prescription range will best fit each frame. Higher prescriptions don’t work well with wrap frames because the curvature will create more distortion on the peripheral of the frame and the very thick lenses need to be used. The minimum thickness for safety lenses is 2mm. When lens prescription and minimum thickness are both factored in, the safety glasses will feel very heavy.

Each prescription will have a column or section for Sphere Right and Sphere Left number listed.

Below is a description of what eye size frame you should be looking at for a small, medium, large and extra large face.

Small Frame: 48-53mm
Medium Frame: 54-56mm
Large Frame: 57-60mm
Extra large Frame: 61-64mm

Each frame will indicate what size of frame it falls under.

Yes, we have Licensed Opticians on our team. Please contact our Customer Service Specialist to schedule an appointment.

On each part of the frame (temple/arm, side shields and front part of frame) you will see the printed stamp of the standard CSA Z94.3 or ANSI Z87.1.

On the lens, you will see a small "H" stamped on the corner on one of the lenses. Please do not be mistaken the “H” for scratches on the lenses. It means certified safety lenses.
